Sarah provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Sarah also supports parents in building effective parenting strategies, communication skills, and healthy boundaries within the home. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. She uses evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while learning tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships.
As a former teacher, she has a strong interest in working with families of children with special needs. She educates parents to navigate the IEP and 504 process, advocate for appropriate supports, and feel more confident working with schools.
Sarah balances empathy and honesty by helping her clients feel supported while gently challenging them when needed to recognize patterns that may be holding them back. This combination of compassion and accountability helps create deeper insight and lasting change.
